Comparisons with Other LAX Lounges

The Qantas First Lounge

  • Strengths: Renowned for its full-service dining with an à la carte menu and luxurious ambiance.

  • Comparison: While the Air France Lounge offers a high-quality buffet, it lacks the personalized dining experience provided by Qantas. However, Air France excels in its overall accessibility for SkyTeam passengers.

The Star Alliance Lounge

  • Strengths: Offers a rooftop terrace with open-air seating and an extensive selection of food and beverages.

  • Comparison: The Air France Lounge provides a more intimate and serene environment, while the Star Alliance Lounge shines with its outdoor spaces and variety of seating zones.

Delta Sky Club

  • Strengths: The Delta Sky Club at LAX is notable for its 30,000 square feet of space, and Sky Deck, which offers outdoor seating with views of the runway and the Hollywood Hills.

  • Comparison: The Air France Lounge focuses on a more intimate setting and French-inspired cuisine while the Delta Sky Club emphasizes spaciousness and variety. Plus, the Delta Sky Club is located in Terminal 3 which will require an even longer walk to the Air France gates at TBIT.

Final Verdict:

The new LAX Air France Lounge is undoubtedly one of the finer options for travelers flying through TBIT, offering a premium experience that blends comfort, style, and practicality. We loved the amenities, food, views and drinks before our long flight to Paris. It was an amazing way to start our trip.

For those eligible for entry, it’s a no-brainer. Enjoy this elegant lounge, grab a snack and drinks before your flight. You will not be disappointed.
